Establishment & OLED Research
Idemitsu established a company in Basel, Switzerland, with a clear mission: to research next-generation materials for OLED displays, positioning ourselves at the forefront of display technology innovation.
Diversification into Business Development
The company subsequently diversified its purpose to serve as a comprehensive business development platform for Idemitsu in Europe, expanding beyond pure research into strategic market operations.
Venture Capital & Technology Scouting
With the consolidation of OLED research activities to Korea and China, our Basel hub now focuses on business development, technology scouting, and corporate venture capital activities.
